Company History – Profile1973-1977
Vasileios Koukkos in N.Artaki Evias starts the production of velvet fabrics for car and furniture a full line of production line and process of fabrics.In the same time company produces car seat covers in the same place and they wholesale. Company owes a sub office and sales point in Athens.
1977-1984
After many visits abroad in major companies manufacturing and exporting of OEM car fabrics, a decision is made from company: to stop the manufacturing of fabrics in Greece. We start the first imports of fabrics for car seat covers and car upholstery (laminated or unlaminated ) from Europe, Usa etc.
1985-1990
A big part of the fabrics we import, upon customer request must be offered laminated with foam in several thicknesses. So we buy our first flame lamination machine. We also start the import of pvc leather and genuine automotive leather. By lamination services to customer fabrics in sectors as automotive sector,carnival clothes, bra and swimwear, isolation etc company enters actively in domain market.
1990-1996
In own facilities in Athens we are making the flame lamination and the wholesale of fabrics and the company has already established strong cooperations with foreign major suppliers and big OEM mills manufacturers of car fabrics. In Greece is a supplier of major manufacturers of car seat covers and car upholsteries. Moreover due to the high volume of products own warehouses in N.Artaki Evias still remain.
1997
In the company, is entering older son Konstantinos koukos who is dealing with the commercial depart of the company, imports and purchase and in research in new products in lamination field.Company changes form and becomes an LTD.
2001-2008
The company due to high volume of items (foam, fabrics) and with target to:
- Serve better the customers
- Full integration of the products for selling
- Better organization of the warehouses
- Better coding and larger range of the fabrics and plastics
is constructing a new panel Industrial building of 3000m² in 10000m² of land in Shimatari with easy access from the National Road of ATHENS-THESSALONIKI in the 1st km. On 2005 LTD changes to S.A. company.
2010 until today
Company focuses mostly in foreign market, establishing portfolio in Balkan, European and East market with great % of export activity selling mostly 1st grade car seating and Aftermarket headliner fabrics, pvc leather & technical fabrics.
